The 2008 edition of The Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF FAIRFORD (UK) was expected to be one of the best in the last 5 years with the USAF F-22, the Vulcan XH-558 back to the air again, the 90th RAF anniversary and with many others exotic gems expected to attend the show.
Unfortunately the very bad weather of the days before the show and the large amount of mud outside and inside the base made the organizers to decide to cancel the show on both saturday and sunday.
From the pictures you can find here, taken on Friday (arrival and rehearsals) and on Monday (departures), you can have an idea of the great show it could have been.
Hoping in a dry 2009 we want to wish the RIAT organizers good luck and good work for a great 2009 show!!. Enjoy the pictures and the video!!!
