ROYAL INTERNATIONAL AIR TATTOO

On mid-July 2005, at RAF FAIRFORD (UK), took place the ROYAL INTERNATIONAL AIR TATTOO, the biggest military European airshow, with the participation of all the major world air forces. This year the weather has been just perfect with a lot of sunshine, hot temperatures and the crowd could enjoy the 8-hours flying display in optimal conditions. Among the participants of the static  display we could see some rare views (Romanian Mig-21and Polish Su-22), and in the flying display we cannot avoid to mention the Dutch AH-64 Apache, the Finnish F/A-18, the Royal Air Force displays (Typhoon, Jaguar, Tornado Gr4 and F3, Chinook,..) and the acrobatic teams from Italy (Frecce Tricolori), Spain (Patrulla Aguila), and UK (Red Arrows).  As usual, RIAT 2005 has been a great airshow!!

Nel luglio 2005 presso la base di FAIRFORD (UK), si è svolta l'edizione 2005 del ROYAL INTERNATIONAL AIR TATTOO. La manifestazione rappresenta il più grande airshow militare europeo ed ha visto la partecipazione delle maggiori forze aeree sia nella mostra statica che nelle esibizioni in volo. Il bel tempo, abbastanza inusuale per l'Inghilterra, ha consentito al numeroso pubblico intervenuto di poter godere in condizioni ottimali di tutte le 8 ore giornaliere previste di esibizioni in volo. Tra i partecipanti non si possono non citare i Mig-21 Rumeni ed un SU-22 Polacco, velivoli ormai rari da vedere, nonchè le demo dell'Apache olandese (con uso di flares), dell' F/A-18 Finlandese, di tutti i velivoli in forza alla Royal Air Force, e delle pattuglie acrobatiche di molti Paesi, fra cui le "nostre" Frecce Tricolori. Come sempre, il Tattoo 2005 è stato un ottimo airshow!!.
