 The 31st squadron from Kleine Brogel AB, located in the east of Belgium, organized the 2009 NATO Tiger Meet on 14-25 September 2009.  The annual exercice involved most of NATO " Tiger Squadrons": 31 Sqn F-16AM/BM,  11 Staffel F/A-18 Hornet,  EC01.012 Mirage 2000C/B,  ECE 05.330 Mirage 2000C,  EC05.330 Rafale C/B,  221 Sqn Mi-24V Hind, 142 Esc Mirage F.1,  Ala 15 EF-18A+ Hornet,  AG 51 Tornado IDS,  211 Sqn JAS-39C/D Gripen,  21 Gruppo AB-212ICO,  313 Sqn F-16AM/BM,  338 Sqn F-16AM/BM,  591 sqn JAS-39C/D Gripen.

The exercice was organized to train and practice interoperability on Operational level, to train and practice interoperability on Maintenance level, to expand the mutual knowledge and understanding on Socio-Cultural level all in accordance with “NTA Customs & Traditions” handbook.

There were 785 OPS sorties flown in 8 flying days , day operations only, 1253:53 Hrs flown, Total CNX : 48 sorties, 6 for Ops, 32 for Maintenance,7 for Wx, 3 for Other, There were No major flight safety incidents . (Source: Belgian Air Component  - PR Department).
