GIORNATA AZZURRA 2005

On 3rd and 4th September 2005 at Rivolto Air Base near Udine, in the North-East of Italy, took place a big airshow for the 45th Anniversary of the Italian acrobatic team FRECCE TRICOLORI. As well as all the italian air force aircraft (Tornado, Amx, MB-339 and Eurofighter) there were demos by a Dutch F-16, an Austrian Draken (last chance to see it flying!), Alenia C-27J, Red Arrows, Swedish Team 60, Breitling Eagles and Piaggio P-180 Avanti. It was a good airshow even if on saturday the weather was not good.

 Il 3 e 4 settembre 2005, presso la Base aerea di Rivolto (Udine) si è svolta l'annuale Giornata Azzurra, che quest'anno festeggiava anche il 45° anniversario delle Frecce Tricolori. La manifestazione ha visto la partecipazione di tutti i velivoli dell'Aeronautica militare (Tornado, Amx, MB-339 and Eurofighter) nonchè esibizioni di un  F-16 olandese, del Draken austriaco (ultima demo prima del ritiro1), del C-27J dell' Alenia, dei  Red Arrows, del Team 60 svedese,dei  Breitling Eagles e del Piaggio P-180 Avanti.  E' stato un buon airshow, ..peccato che siano mancate un po' di pattuglie acrobatiche per defezioni dell'ultima ora, e per il tempo, che sabato ha guastato parzialmente la giornata.
